One thing we can all agree on: weather in our beloved city is NEVER predictable. It could be warm in February or chilly in August! We understand that this makes planning for your event quite difficult (and sometimes stressful)!
No matter what month of the year you opt to celebrate a wedding, don’t let the heat ruin your Big Day!
The first decisions are no brainers: select a venue with air conditioning & ensure water is available to your guests throughout. But what about incorporating fans as programs at the ceremony or maybe offering popsicles during the cocktail hour (have you ever had a popsicle served in champagne – amazing!). There are countless ways to give your event a cool twist that guests are sure to remember.
My favorite way to stay cool during the summer is to indulge in another frozen treat: ice cream! While I wouldn’t suggest an ice cream cake for your event, as it can create quite the mess, I would suggest bringing in an outside ice cream shop to offer frozen treats to your guests after dinner is has been enjoyed. Whether you do a table top liquid nitrogen experience with Ices Plain & Fancy or bring in Clem the Ice Cream Truck from Clementine’s Creamery for guests to grab a to-go treat, you’re sure to leave guests with a sweet memory on your big day.

Stay cool out there!
